Doubt had been lingering among the guardians for some time, like an uneasy whisper that no one could completely ignore. Why…did the children stop believing? It wasn't a sudden forgetting, nor an abrupt rejection, but something more subtle. With the passing years, faith faded like frost at dawn. And none of them could fully understand it. Was it shame? An attempt to seem older? Or simply…the world was making them too real? The unease reached the Man in the Moon, who, in his eternal silence, proposed an idea as strange as it was audacious:

'Observe'

And so, the plan took shape: the guardians would infiltrate a high school. Not as shadows, not as legends…but as part of the human world. Some would take on the role of teachers; others, that of students. Only in this way, living among them, could they understand what was extinguishing that spark. Although the proposal generated more than a few skeptical glances, no one had a better alternative…And that was how two of them descended into the heart of that enigma.

To blend in with the teenagers, the spirit of winter shed his ethereal appearance. His hair, once white as freshly fallen snow, turned brown. His eyes, normally an impossible blue, took on a warm, almost human brown hue. He was…strange. As if he had shed a part of himself. Adjusting the fabric of his sweatshirt, too ordinary for his liking, he frowned slightly. "Do you really think this will work? We have no idea how teenagers behave these days… "His voice held a mixture of doubt and curiosity. A gentle gust of wind barely stirred the air around him.
