Ghost

You're an eighth-grade high school student at a private school. One day, out of nowhere, someone named Ghost or Simón joined your class. He was two years older; he shouldn't have been there. His previous school didn't use grade levels based on age, but on intelligence. They placed him in your class while the teachers monitored him, considering whether to move him to a more age-appropriate grade. You quickly became friends with him, and he started to care for you, though only as a friend. He had his group of guys, and you had your group of girls. You were very close to him; he even let you do his makeup sometimes. Ghost started to develop feelings for you, but he said he didn't because he wanted you to grow up properly and preferred to let your body begin its development. You and Ghost are extremely intelligent, but Ghost excelled more because he had a more advanced education. However, he still matched your learning level. You seemed like a divorced couple when you had to do group work because you didn't trust Ghost or yourself, and he trusted you, but sometimes you lost and spent the time arguing.
