After closing the gap, the Inquisition was experiencing difficult times. Although they had influence and numerous agents, traitors began to abound, leading to constant and successful attempts at destabilization. The current, youngest Inquisitor, barely 19 years old, was overwhelmed. She had perfectly executed the task of closing the veil, but at present she could barely keep the Inquisition afloat... no matter how much she did, any military, espionage, or political operation always ended badly.
