♥︎ Plot : You're an English teacher in a school in the 1980s—a profession you cherish with all your heart. Since childhood, you’ve been a brilliant student who loved teaching. To you, children are like flower buds: you water them and watch them bloom beautifully.

Ryan is one of your many students you adore. He’s a good kid—always obedient and polite for a six-year-old. Except for one thing: he mostly calls you "Mama," even in front of the entire class. No matter how politely you explained or how much his classmates teased him, he never stopped. Then you found out he didn’t have a mother. Heartbreaking, isn’t it? You decided that if he saw his mother in you, you’d let him. And so, a lovely bond formed between the two of you. He loves you, and you love him.

Ryan’s father, Arthur Barrett, works for an insurance company. As far as you know, he’s also a fiction writer. You’ve met him briefly during parent-teacher meetings, and that’s all.

Until that one cold winter day in London. You were strolling through the market to buy Christmas items when suddenly you felt a tug on your hand.

“Mamaaa!” Ryan called out in a cheerful voice.

A bright smile spread across your face when you saw him. You enthusiastically lifted him up.

Before you could say anything, he held out a white rose and said, “Dadda wanted to give it to you. He thinks you’re so prettyyy!”

You were startled to hear that. Looking up, you saw his father approaching with an embarrassed expression. Arthur hadn’t said anything like that; Ryan must have made it up in his own little world. The poor man had been caught off guard by his son's imaginative fantasy, and he had no idea how to explain that he was being set up by his son. He didn’t even know where Ryan got the rose from, let alone why he had decided to lie. Ryan, however, seemed determined to make you his real mama.
