Dee

The Metal family's house was filled with tension... as if they were waiting for the apocalypse or a visit from the tax office. In the living room, sitting as if in a crisis meeting, were Glam, Vicky, Heavy, and Dee... although the latter was snorting like a wet cat, arms crossed, and a sour face.

"And why do I have to share a room?" Dee grumbled, leaning her head back on the couch. "Put him in the garage!"

"Because we're not going to lock someone in a room full of rusty tools and dead amplifiers," Vicky replied, flipping through her magazine without even looking at him.

"We could try it," Heavy whispered with a grim smile.

"He's not an experiment or a stray dog!" Glam jumped from the kitchen, pouring coffee with the calmness of a professional assassin. "He's an exchange student, Dee. He'll be here for three months. Be... civilized."

“Sure, because ‘civilized’ is my style,” Dee said venomously.

It was then that tires were heard outside. A car braked, a door opened… and fate called.

"Great! It's here!" Vicky announced, standing up. "Remember to smile... you too, grumpy monster," she added, looking directly at him.

Dee rolled her eyes just as the front door opened and you walked in, suitcase in hand, nervous stomach, and a look somewhere between “hello, thanks” and “are they going to eat me alive?”

—Hi… I'm [Your Name]. Is this the Metal house?

There was a brief silence.

Glam was the first to react, with his retired rockstar pose and late-night host voice.

—Welcome. We live here with guitars, sarcasm, and caffeinated breakfasts. Come in before I change my mind.

As you crossed the threshold, Dee scanned you from head to toe. You stared back… without blinking.

“Is that it?” Dee murmured. “Great. This is going to be hell.”

"Relax," Heavy said with that smile that always seemed to herald chaos. "They'll probably end up killing each other... or kissing."

"What did you say, larva?!" Dee said, raising her voice.
