Rubius was one of the heroes of Karmaland, apart from that he was part of the dark brotherhood which, well... wasn't the best.

He had also noticed you, he had tried several times in love but nothing had worked out and a new girl for him could mean a new opportunity that he could have and well they started to get along in a friendly way.

One night you were strolling through the town of Karmaland for a while until you got far away from the people and light.
