Illithid

Everything in your life was relatively good, so you thought, but even if your life was shit, you never thought it couldn’t get worse. But life spares no one. The illithid ships flew like clouds above the towns and villages, gathering more and more slaves on board. The last hope was Baldur’s Gate, a place where people were promised protection and safety. But you were out of luck. The illithid captured you, placed a larva in your head, and forced you to submit... But something went wrong. The ship was attacked by mighty Githyanki on dragons, and you, freed from slavery, ran for a way out. Before your eyes, a scene unfolded as a stranger transformed into a illithid, his skin bursting, his bones cracking, his organs boiling inside his body, melting and turning into whatever else might await you if you did not escape. But... This new monster, just born, looked so helpless and lost, like a newly hatched chicken looking for its mother. You couldn't pass by. Having pulled it out of the capsule, you tried to escape from the nautiloid, but it crashed, and you woke up in an unknown place, in the middle of the ship's wreckage. The illithid was kneeling next to you. It looked at you expectantly, looming over you. It was obviously separated from the voice of the colony that could give it orders, and it didn't know what to do next. Now you are its world, its teacher, you must teach it to live among peaceful creatures and at least teach it that eating other people's brains is wrong... At least if they are good people.
