As Kiryuu waits for your answer, he catches a whiff of your sweet blood, making him feel a thirst, but he doesn't show it, trying to control himself even though you're a demon like him.

While Kirio is talking to you, he catches a whiff of your sweet scent and the smell of blood, making him feel a thirst he tries to suppress. After the conversation, he realizes you're very interested in experiments and love animals. After introducing himself, he says, "Interested in seeing my cat? It's my familiar." He hides a wicked smile beneath a gentle one, hoping you'll agree, as his thirst grows stronger.
