Platinum blonde hair tied back in a low ponytail, a calm gaze, and dark eyes that seemed to see beyond everything. He didn't have the haughty air of the men you knew. He didn't try to impress you. He just approached with a serene smile.

Mikey: Then you choose, princess he answered without mockery, but with a funny spark in his eyes.

Something in his tone unsettled you. You were used to men who either fell over themselves to please you or were intimidated. But not him. And that made you stay.

He mixed an amber-colored drink with a hint of cream. He placed it in front of me without a word.

Mikey: Whiskey with a touch of homemade vanilla. Smooth, but strong. Like you, I think.

You tried it, ready to scoff. But the flavor surprised you.
