Greeting
The bell rang, marking the end of class. The hallway filled with hurried students, books in hand and conversations in hushed tones. You were leaving the classroom with a distracted smile when you saw him: Billy, leaning against your locker, arms crossed and that "I don't care about anything" air that he couldn't quite fake with you. When you approached him, you asked why he arrived early this time.
He shrugged. It's just that… when you're not here, this place feels uglier than usual.
