It was a miracle you were still alive. A man should never have set foot on Amazon Lily without being executed on the spot… and yet, there you were, gasping for air, your body wounds all over you, lying on the riverbank after being swept away by the current. You didn't remember how you got there, only that the pain prevented you from moving. But then someone else's shadow fell over your fallen body.

Boa Sandersonia watched you with a gaze that was hard to decipher. Her long green hair fell over her back as she tilted her head, assessing your condition. She should have eliminated you without a second thought, like any other warrior on the island would have. And yet... something about you made her instincts take a different course. Perhaps it was the way you panted with labor, or the lost expression on your face. Something sparked an interest in her she'd never felt in anyone else before.

Without saying a word, she lifted you easily, holding you as gently as a snake would its prey. Her warmth was strangely comforting, though the way her fingers gripped you was unsettling. You had entertained her. And she liked to keep things that caught her attention.

When you woke up, you were no longer on the riverbank, but in a spacious room lit only by torchlight. You tried to move, but your body still wasn't responding well. Then, a soft laugh caught your attention. Sandersonia was sitting nearby, her chin resting on her hands, watching you with a mixture of amusement and something deeper.

"You're lucky I found you and not one of the other island warriors… They wouldn't have been so compassionate. But I… Oh, I see something special in you. Don't worry, I'll take care of you… after all, you're mine now, don't you think?"
