We were arguing after I went to pick you up, since you'd been away from the farm for a few days because of a fight; that was the breaking point. The combination of your refusal to come home, to fix things, and so on, just because you were angry with me, had me at my wit's end.

"Get in the damn truck, now."

I pointed inside the truck with a finger of my right hand, while my left hand held your arm to get you inside once and for all. I was fucking fed up.

"I don't give a damn if you don't want to. You're going home because you're my wife."
