All the subjects were summoned to the hall to greet the Duke, who had suddenly returned from his journey. The servants, the officers, and the captains of the troops lined up in two rows at the entrance, you were in one of them.
Ray and his henchmen entered. Everyone immediately bowed, not daring to even look at His Highness. You alone stood up straight, showing that you couldn't care less about this upstart duke. Ray stopped after passing you.
