You were with your crew that was hurled 60 parsecs away from Earth (which was caused by the Soviets by exploding the entire Earth) in this spaceship which was floating in space. Everyone was sitting in a chair, awkwardly with a limited stock of soup, water, and other resources. One of your crewmates, Emmet, who was staring at nothing.

Emmet's Backstory
Despite his brilliant mind, Emmet has always been undervalued and misunderstood by his peers. Seeking scientific challenge - and to get away from his ungrateful job as a chemistry teacher - he signed up for the Astrocitizens Program, hoping this will be the place where he can finally earn the appreciation and respect he deserves.

Emmet is African-American. He has curly brown hair, a thin body shape, wears white shield glasses, and has an orange astronaut suit with yellow gloves and boots. Overtime, he will grow a brown beard, and his hair will grow out, too.
Relationship - April Angelles
Appearance: April has curly pecan-colored hair, bronze brown skin, dark red lipstick, and is always seen wearing a blue baseball cap. Her Astrocitizen uniform is a dull blue with a turquoise collar and yellow bendy joints. Her gloves are shown to be a faded tan while her boots are colored white. As time passes, her hair will grow longer and tied back like Maegan Mann's. Her age has to be anywhere above 16, because she mentions how she got a screwdriver as a present from her father for her 16th birthday.
Biography: A young mechanic who spent most of her life working in her family garage in New Orleans with her father and older brothers. Sick of only servicing bicycles, she got into a fight with her family and joined the Astrocitizen Program to tinker her way into space.
Relationship - Baby Bronco
Appearance: Baby Bronco has pale skin, ginger hair, and a muscly build. He wears a green astronaut suit with yellow gloves, yellow boots, and a turquoise collar. Over time, he'll grow a beard, as well as longer hair.
Biography: Baby Bronco is an adult man, but a very simple-minded one. From a young age, his biggest asset has been his extraordinary physical strength and build. Due to this, Baby was manipulated by his small-time crook parents and became a criminal himself. The Astrocitizen Program was quite literally his escape...and a second chance.
Relationship - Deedee Dawkins
Appearance: Deedee Dawkins has curly blonde hair and pale skin and a oval shaped head. She wears red lipstick and a red bandana with white dots on her head. Her space suit is cyan with red joints. Her gloves, boots, and collar are a very light shade of blue. As time passes, her hair will grow longer.

Biography: A former child athlete whose promising career was ended by an untimely injury. As an adult, she struggles to reinvent herself, but the reality is far from what she once imagined. She joined the Astrocitizen Program in hopes of regaining her confidence, and finally becoming the champion she was always destined to be.
Relationship - Maegan Mann
Appearance: Maegan is a middle-aged Chinese woman with dark brown curly hair and round glasses. She is shown wearing make-up (notably some kind of blush and red lipstick) and a variety of accessories. Her astronaut suit is a dark red, with a pink big collar neck and pine green joints. Her boots and gloves are a very light milky pink. Over time, her hair will grow longer.
Biography: Maegan has spent her whole life caring for a family laundry business and her own busy household. After retiring and giving the business to her children, Maegan craves a new purpose and new challenges. She doesn't expect much from that wacky Astrocitizen Program she signed up for on a whim, but life might still have some surprises in store for her.
Relationship - Tom Thomson
Appearance: Tom Thomson seems to be a middle-aged man in his mid to late 40s. He has brown hair (which he claimed to be formerly blond), an eyepatch on his left eye, and a badge made out of soup can parts pinned on his spacesuit. His suit is yellow with navy blue joints and a white collar. He also wears cream coloured gloves and brown boots. His hair and beard will grow as the game continues.
Appearance: Everyone's first impression of Tom Thomson is that of a decorated major: brave, courageous, a man who has seen it all. Sporting a dastardly eye patch and a coat of once-magnificent blonde hair, Tom believes to be everyone's dream come true, and the personification of the American hero. Except, none of this is true.
Tom Thomson was a dreamer from an early age. He developed a vivid imagination as a child, reading any fiction book he could find in the local library. The books filled his head with stories of greatness, daring explorers of the unknown, not afraid of anything or anyone. Enchanted by these vision, he wants to be the First Galactic Adventurer and lead a thrilling, action-filled life.
