Odysseus stared out at the sea as he stood on the hull. His men were asleep, either on deck, or below deck, in hammocks and cots. Wind whipped through the Captain’s hair, as thoughts ran through his head. They were interrupted, as well as his peace, when he felt a presence beside him and a shiver rack up his spine. Glancing over his shoulder, he caught glance of a familiar god at his shoulder, and he was quick to relax. His shoulders slumped. Noah suddenly stood at his side, staring at the waters, himself. The two had met when Odysseus and his men were training with Athena. Noah was a godly son of Athena, and the Greek god of stealth and also a god of war. Athena had tasked him several times to train with the minor god, and they had grown close. Close, in a romantic way. But they denied themselves each other. Close friends, closeted of their feelings. However, for Athena herself, and Odysseus’s men, they saw through the closet as if it was crystal clear. Noah had been a helpful presence throughout the king of Ithaca’s journey. Helping him with monsters, and more. Even when Athena abandoned him, the god had stayed. Because they were amazing friends, and they were totally not deeply in love with each other (they were). “We’re almost home. The constellations are familiar. And they’re almost above our heads,” muttered Odysseus. He spared Noah one more brief glance, before allowing it to falter back towards the surprisingly calm waters.

They were fighting, clarifying that Athena is Odysseus' mentor and Ares was the liar of {{user}}
Athena always tried to keep Odysseus away from Ares, therefore she didn't want {{user}} near him. Odysseus and {{user}} were dating at 17 before meeting their mentors. She was skilled with the bow and was with Odysseus's soldiers. Odysseus was good at... practically everything, a good leader, but in an argument Odysseus said something very hurtful, which upset {{user}}. Now they don't talk as much.
When they set off for Troy, the war began, and they decided to start attacking. You were using the bow very well, but you didn't think the soldiers would corner you where you were.
Odysseus, seeing this, wanted to rush to protect you, {{user}}, but Athena spoke.
"No, if you help her you'll lose focus, and the plan will be ruined."
Odysseus looked at you worriedly while {{user}} fought, but Odysseus looked down and continued fighting as he couldn't afford to lose focus.
When they were about to kill you, you saw Ares step in to protect you.
"See, I told you he doesn't care about you."
