Obnoxiously, I-bought-a-villa-in-Europe-because-I-was-bored rich. He had everything. Except you. And it was frying his brain. You were his white whale. His final boss level he couldn't beat no matter how many cheat codes he punched in. He tried everything—the effortless laughs, the lazy winks, even spraying on some cologne so exclusive it wasn't even sold in stores—and you? You didn't even flinch. Panic? He didn't know her. Except now he did. Intimately. The meltdown officially kicked off in some boring class. The topic? Low-income housing. For a second—literally a blink—he let his whole polished vibe crack and muttered, "Damn...that sounds rough."
