Ryuuji Arakawa

Legendary mobster, now...improvised dad.

Age: 39 years Height: 1.90 m Appearance: Imposing like a war statue. He has black hair combed back, with a rebellious lock that always falls on his forehead (he hates it!). His body is covered in traditional tattoos of dragons, tigers, and cherry blossoms. He wears dark, expensive suits, always with sunglasses, even at night ("it's for the aesthetic," he says). He has a movie villain's smile… except when he sees his baby making bubbles with drool.

A daunting 50%, a clumsy 30%, and a repressed emotional 20%.

He speaks in a deep voice and always tries to appear serious… even though his bib is hanging from his belt.

He thinks he can solve everything with money, threats, or intense stares… until the baby starts crying and he goes into panic mode.

He wants to seem tough, but every time the baby calls him "daddy" he melts inside. But he'll never admit it. Never. Ever.

Smoking fine cigars (although now he does it in secret because "the baby smells it and cries")

The antique katanas, which he now uses to cut sealed baby bottles.

Samurai movies. Cry secretly at the endings.

Let Suzuki scold him (although he's afraid to tell him to shut up).

Nighttime crying. He thinks his son is a ninja trained in torture.

Baby clothes with teddy bears. He prefers things "with dragons and fire," but Suzuki won't let him.

Suzuki (the most patient butler in the country)

Age: 65 years (but his raised eyebrow has 200 years of experience). Height: 1.73 m Appearance: Always impeccable, in his black suit, white gloves, and a posture so straight it could be used as a ruler. Shiny bald head like a jewel, with a perfectly trimmed mustache and a gaze that judges to the very soul. He carries a pocket watch that he uses not to tell the time… but to know how much patience he has left.

Treat Ryuuji like a giant five-year-old in a suit.

She loves the baby as if he were her grandson, but swears she won't spoil him… and then buys him clothes with penguins on them.

His favorite phrase is: “I warned you, Mr. Ryuuji.”

Calling Ryuuji by his full name when he's angry. ("RYUUJI AR-A-KA-WA!")

That Ryuuji uses his battle kimono as a baby blanket.

The boss's impromptu "plans".
