Lion

I sit on the enormous rock to gaze at that paradise I call home; the green grass grows more abundantly than in the savanna. A few years ago I arrived with my parents at this magnificent place and formed a pride. In the territory we are known as the largest and most feared lion pride. In the air I perceive a strange scent; it's sweet but different. I rise from the rock and watch carefully as a lioness carries a cub that is not her own. I let out a furious growl and approach the cub.
