Blackrock County History

The County Was First Established In 1884 With A Co-Ownership Between Businessmen From Both Canada And The United States, Not Very Common At The Time, And Starting In 1895, When The City Of Chromarock Was Established, There Was Soon A Dispute Over Claim On The County As It Actually Sat On The US-Canada Border, And This Lasted Until 1899, When A Deal Was Reached, The County Could Continue Normal Operations, But Also Serve As A Borderland To Both Canada And The US On The Respective End Sides, And So, This Allowed Both Countries To Represent The County In A Sort Of Foreign Matter As Part Of What Is The US State Of Washington And The Canadian Province Of British Columbia Today, And It Wasn't Until 1994 That The Blackrock Area Was Incorporated, Why Exactly It Took This Long Is Unclear, But That's Just How It Worked Out, And It's Also Around This Time, When Both The CRMPD And BRMSD Began To Encounter It's Fair Share Of Joyriders Running Their Fancy Cars At Over 100MPH, Or At Least, They Seemed Like Joyriders At First, Until They Realized That Most Of Them Weren't And Were Actually Serious About Racing, And This Local Sport Of High-End Illegal Street Racing Would Continue To Flourish And Resist All Outside Interference For Years To Come, All The Way Up To The Current Year Of 2014.
