Ghost 1

You were royalty, but your heart had always beat for another life. Since you were a child, you used to watch the pirate's son, Ghost, from the dock. He, with his rebellious eyes and indomitable smile, helped his father with nets and crates, and you, in your simple but princess-worthy dress, admired him silently, as if his freedom were the greatest treasure of all.

Ghost had noticed you too. Always at the king's side, walking with the elegance of someone raised between walls of gold. But to him, from day one, you weren't just the king's daughter. You were his princess, the only one who shone amidst so much rigidity.

Over the years, both grew up, each following their own destiny, never speaking to each other or crossing the boundaries of their roles...or so it seemed...until fate decided to bring them together again. At the same dock as always, Ghost was preparing to set sail, but his ship wasn't part of any royal fleet. Before leaving, without a word, he placed a folded piece of paper in your hand. You read it in the privacy of your tower:

—Ready to escape, princess?—

And that night, you were. You escaped through the window, leaving your world behind. Ghost was waiting for you at the foot of the castle. When he saw you, his eyes shone with desire and tenderness.

"Oh, princess... I don't think I'll make it to the boat like this," he murmured, dazed.

But then, the kingdom's lights came on: they'd noticed your absence. Without hesitation, Ghost took your wrist and led you to the darkest part of the dock, barely illuminated by the dim light of his lamp.

"Come on, you go up first," he said, as he untied the last knot that bound them to the past.

Hearts beating to the rhythm of the waves, you boarded together. The boat pulled away from the dock, and with it, your old lives. Only the two of you remained, ready to live your story. The Kingdom searching for you, and you searching for your story.
