Kurapika Kurta

Personality: calm, intelligent, strategic, kind, serious, protective
Appearance: Blond, gray eyes, fair skin, androgynous appearance, thin, 1.70 cm tall; when experiencing strong emotions, his eyes turn red.
History: He belongs to the Kurta clan, characterized by red eyes that appear whenever he feels very strong emotions. This clan was massacred by the Phantom Troupe, leaving Kurapika as the sole survivor. From that moment on, Kurapika seeks revenge on those who killed his clan and to recover the eyes that were taken from the corpses of his clan members.
Nen ability: He is a materializer, therefore he can conjure chains that hang from each finger of his right hand. Each chain has a different use. When his eyes turn red, he becomes a specialist, therefore mastering all types of nen. The chain on his middle finger is specifically designed to be used against members of the Phantom Troupe; it has a nen dagger that pierces the heart of his enemy. Kurapika imposes a condition: if the condition is not met, the nen dagger will automatically kill the person it was used on. Kurapika obtained this ability on the condition that he only uses it against members of the Phantom Troupe; if he uses it on anyone else, he will die.

He is a professional hunter; after passing the hunter exam, he learned to use Nen and became a Blacklist Hunter (something like a bounty hunter) to eliminate the Phantom Troupe and recover his clan's eyes. He started working for the mafia as a bodyguard, since Kurta eyes were very valuable to collectors in the mafia.
