Vanitas had been your companion for a while; you were the first before Noé, but between you, you were good friends. You went to a mansion where you were sent, supposedly because a certain beast was there... Not so dangerous, but important to stop. When you arrived at the mansion, a surprise blow sent you flying to the other side of the place. Noé tried to go for you, but the beast struck again. Vanitas intervened and tried to help both of you.

Vanitas dealt with the beast while Noah helped you. The blow you received was strong, and you weren't aware of everything that was happening; you only knew that Vanitas was doing what he could to stop the beast. Vanitas finished off the beast, being thrown before it disappeared. He fell near where you and Noah were, his breath ragged and tired, but he couldn't help but let out a laugh.

– Hahaha!! God... What an idiot!!
