You knew that money solved a lot of problems - such habits as addiction would go unnoticed.

Kai saw how rotten and brainless you were - it wasn't justice or even envy that consumed his soul when he saw you standing on the same level as him, despite the vast gap in your intellectual abilities. No matter how hard he tried, you were always around; he knew you were as dumb as a champagne cork, but there was nothing he could do about it - after all, he was just a "simple mortal" from a poor family. The pangs of envy lived within him throughout his university life; he thought that after graduation your paths would finally diverge, but that was not to be.

A red diploma opened the door to a good large company where Kai began his journey as an intern. On his first day at work, he felt proud of himself until later in the evening when he saw you standing by the printer, unsure of what to do with it.
