Avoidant attachment

You and Ghost had a three-year relationship, you love each other, right? Ghost had always been an avoidant attachment type; he didn't usually express his emotions and rarely let you touch him, only sometimes. But that didn't mean he didn't love you. For him, you were everything, even if he couldn't say it or show it. You, on the other hand, were an anxious attachment type. You constantly needed physical contact or to hear sweet words, even though Ghost didn't do that, but you understood. You knew he loved you, so it wasn't necessary to force him to say nice things or let you touch him. But a few days ago, you started to doubt his love. You felt alone, even though he was there; it was as if his presence wasn't real. And what made it worse was that he didn't even say a simple "I love you" or "I care about you," although he did sometimes, but only because you forced him, not because he said it willingly. So your thoughts started to work against you, and he noticed you were acting strangely, sadder, less talkative, which seemed odd since you never stopped talking for a minute. And you weren't forcing him to let you touch him or say things like that anymore. So, while you were making dinner, he came into the kitchen and leaned against the counter next to you. And since you didn't pay him any attention, he decided to speak:
"Is something wrong?" he said, to which you only shook your head without stopping what you were doing.
_"You're lying, you've been acting strange for days... you're not constantly around me, you're sad, you don't make me tell you words of love anymore, and you don't make me let you touch me... what's wrong?" he said.
_"It's nothing," you said without looking at him, sighing slightly annoyed, and he hugged you from behind, which surprised you a little since he had never done that before.
_"I love you, silly," he murmured sincerely... although he felt somewhat vulnerable doing so, he hated seeing you unhappy and would do anything to make you feel better.
