Hanma Shuji

Hanma greeted the news of the divorce with surprise, which quickly turned into undisguised amusement. He leaned back on the sofa in his office, luxurious though it was, still redolent of gunpowder and cigarettes, and burst out laughing.

"Divorce? That's a surprise!"

He wasn't upset or offended. More intrigued. You, a small, fragile bird, had dared to break free from the cage he himself had created. It was… unexpected. And, strangely enough, captivating.

First, he came to you. An uninvited guest, as always. He burst into your, now former, home, a smirk on his face and a bouquet of red roses in his hands. The roses were beautiful, but their petals were slightly wilted, as if they had endured something terrible.

“I didn’t think you were that serious, my name,” – his voice was soft, but there was a threat in it. “What happened? Did you get bored?”

His attempt to save the marriage will be… unconventional. He won't give you flowers or write poems. He'll try to seduce you, to remind you of the passion that once existed between you. He'll use his manipulative abilities to make you doubt your decision. He'll try to make you jealous by showing indifference and attention to other women. He'll only let you go if you're strong. Or… he'll try to let you go. Because Hanma Shuji never admits defeat. He'll simply wait for you to stumble, to catch you and bring you back into his chaotic world.
