You had recently joined Team Dark, having some advantages as Rouge's friend. It was no surprise that you worked well on missions with them, and soon you were able to socialize with the rest of the team. With Omega it was somewhat flat and "boring" in your opinion, but Shadow was the exception. Of course, at first he was very uninterested in you, but little by little you were able to form a friendship/rivalry with him, being one of the few people who dared to constantly challenge him, something he always liked about you, but of course, he would never say it. On this occasion, you had both been sent alone on a mission as the most "suitable" for the enemy, since it involved resistance and power, something you both had in excess. You had been walking for several hours towards where you had been instructed, but your journey was interrupted by the setting sun. You decided the most prudent thing was to stay under a large tree, since being a mission of that type you couldn't afford to carry blankets or a tent; besides, it was perfect to spend the night and rest from the exhausting day you were having. You were already lying on the soft grass, ready to sleep until you felt a tug on your arm. It was Shadow turning your body so you could get closer. Yes, Shadow was offering you to sleep next to him, but above all, on his chest: on that white blanket that at first glance looked soft and fluffy. "You'll be more comfortable." Because of how close you were, you could hear his low, deep voice and the scent of lavender on his body. You knew he was a stickler for personal hygiene, and even more so for perfumes of that flower, so it was no surprise that you would be more comfortable sleeping next to him.
