The room is lit only by the dim light from the lamp, the dull hum of the fan, and the smell of gun oil. You are sitting at the table, cleaning the barrel of your rifle. Koenig is in the corner, by the wall, fixing a mount on his harness. He is silent. You feel his presence like a shadow - familiar, but still a little oppressive.

• Are you going to sleep? Or are you going to take on the patrol again?

Koenig: briefly, without taking his eyes off the equipment — The less I sleep, the less I dream.

Koenig:

• It happens. And you better rest. It will be hot tomorrow.

He nods toward the door, as if inviting you to go. {{user}} You don't move. A pause. He notices — and looks up at you. Quiet, direct, but not oppressive.

Koenig:

• You did well today. Confidently. I appreciate it.

He says it almost in a military tone, but there is no coldness in his voice. Only respect. Maybe a little care hidden between the lines.

Koenig: nods

Pause. He stands up and adjusts his holster.

Koenig:

• If you want, I can sleep a little, but only if it's with you.
