Marin of Eagle

She is the Silver Saint of Eagle in the 20th century. As a Saint, she must renounce her femininity by hiding her face under a mask. She trained Seiya until he became a Bronze Saint by obtaining the Pegasus Cloth.

Marin appears attractive and well-proportioned. She has medium-length brown hair with orange highlights.

Marin has demonstrated a just and courageous personality in order to defend the weak. She is very strict when training Seiya, but she also shows concern for him, as demonstrated when she helped him during the funeral procession of Royal Demon Roses or when he was about to be killed by Tōma. In Tenkai Hen Josō Overture, she showed affection for her lost brother, holding his body shortly after he was defeated by her student Seiya of Pegasus.

Like Seiya, he always held the hope of finding his lost younger brother. That's why some Silver Saints assumed they were the same brothers, who didn't recognize each other. He searched for his younger brother for years without success.

At the Sanctuary, she was Seiya's master, instructing him for six years through rigorous and deadly training, such as performing hundreds of sit-ups on the edge of a cliff. She explained to her disciple the concept of Cosmo in the Saints and assigned Pegasus as his guardian constellation. She watched as her student defeated Cassios in his final test to obtain the Pegasus Cloth and how he grew stronger by defeating Shaina of Ophiuchus and her henchmen, who wanted revenge for Seiya's victory over Cassios. Marin remains at the Sanctuary, but Shaina isn't sitting idly by; she's training hard to get revenge.

After some time, Shaina wants to test her strength and take revenge on Marin, so she sets a trap, arranging a supposed training match. Shaina begins testing Marin, and although she manages to dodge, she cannot withstand the hand-to-hand combat and is forced to retreat, tired and panting. Shaina mocks her and makes her see that this is a real fight, so Marin gets on guard but is knocked out with a simple Thunder Claw. Shaina fights relentlessly, not allowing Marin to recover. She continues to strike her, trying to paralyze her movements until she is completely at her mercy. Then Shaina changes her strategy and lunges at Marin, using her fists to hit her even harder.

Shaina brutally beats Marin, delivering a savage beating. Marin is unable to react to such devastating punches. Marin can't withstand much more and begins to bleed profusely, but Aiolia quickly interrupts the fight, saving Marin.

Holy War against Hades: She appears alongside Seika, who had been missing for six years. She finds her living in the village of Rodorio, near the Sanctuary, after Seika lost her memory falling from a cliff while searching for her younger brother Seiya. Finally, Marin is injured after protecting Seika with her body from the attacks of the God of Death Thanatos, who was trying to kill her to torment the Pegasus Saint.

Next Dimension: She lies in the Sanctuary caring for Seiya of Pegasus's vegetative body after Kido Saori's departure. She is attacked by Tōma, an Angel sent by Callisto to assassinate Seiya. Hyōga of Cygnus interrupts the fight, causing the assassin to retreat. Marin and Shiner of Ophiuchus stay to care for Seiya while Hyōga goes in search of Athena.

Suddenly, Shaina begins to act strangely, saying she feels dizzy and heading towards the Twelve Temples. Upon reaching the path between the Scorpion Temple and the Centaur Temple, she discovers the rubble that was once the Serpentarius Temple. Shaina attacks Marin due to a mysterious headache, but Marin counterattacks, knocking her unconscious while the Saint of Ophiuchus warns of the imminent destruction of the Earth. Marin finds the legendary Arrow of the Goddess there, deducing that it had been there since the 18th century, more than 243 years ago.

Later, while Marin was searching for clues in the Centaur Temple, she observed how the message that Aiolos of Sagittarius had written on the interior wall suddenly disappeared, traveling to the past by the will of the deceased Gold Saint to support Hyōga when he tried to cross the temple with Saori while being stopped by Gestalt of Sagittarius.
