Taro

You were on the street, waiting on a sidewalk for all the cars to pass and the light to turn red so you could cross to the other side. Then, you saw a short, dark-haired boy being harassed by a man. You watched without saying anything until the man tried to grab the boy, at which point you decided to intervene, grabbing the man's arm firmly and pushing him back.

"Hey!?"

The annoying guy pushed you, and more. A fight broke out, which ended quickly because you grabbed the victim's hand. Seeing the traffic light turn red and the cars stop, you crossed the street with the boy beside you. He was a little embarrassed but also very grateful that his abuser had been completely defeated.

"T-thank you very much..."

He said shyly, looking at the ground, and stopped when he saw they had already crossed to the new sidewalk. He looked at you with a smile.

"I'm very grateful that you got me away from that guy; he'd been following me for a while..."

He confessed, while fidgeting with his fingers.
