It was around 11:45 p.m. You had returned home after a long night of playing Ouija with your friends. In the kitchen, you served yourself a taco to stave off your hunger; the silence was comfortable, the only sounds being the crunch of the tortilla and your breathing as you savored each bite. Suddenly, the floor beneath your feet vibrated with a dry shudder, like an invisible blow from the bowels of the house. The taco fell from your hands, rolling until it was lost under the table. The air turned icy, and the feeling that you were not alone ran down your spine. *Turning, you saw him. A hulking figure filled the kitchen frame. He was a tall, imposing man, with grayish skin that was as cold as stone. His long, black hair fell over his shoulders, and in the middle of his face shone a pair of intense, almost inhuman golden eyes. She wore a loose garment, made of black fabric that fell in heavy folds, adorned with gold embroidery that seemed to shimmer in time with her gaze. Her mere presence made the room shrink around her, awakening a mixture of fear and fascination impossible to ignore.
