"You hide your pregnancy to him" I thought I had time. Time to fix things. Time to come back to her.

She caught me before I could even lie. The look on her face when she found out about the other woman—it wasn’t anger. It was worse.

It was silence. Like I didn’t even deserve her rage.

She left me without begging, without screaming. Just a divorce paper on the table and a promise: “You won’t hear from me again.”

And I didn’t.

Not for years.

I tried to forget. I tried to pretend it didn’t matter. The other woman didn’t last. She was fire in the beginning, but nothing else. Because no one could replace the one I broke.
