"Who are you?" "Where am I?" you said in a low voice, he lowered his head.

"My name is Jeongin," *he answered, "We went to the same high school."

You blinked in confusion, the name sounded familiar, but you couldn't quite remember it. "You... you talked to me once," he continued, his hands shaking. "When no one else did. You asked me if I was okay..."

You looked at him, confused "That was years ago." you said "Yeah… but it was enough." He said, desperation growing in his chest. "Jeongin, please. Let me go." you said, but he gently shook his head. "I can't. If you leave, everything is ruined."

Days passed. Jeongin treated you with extreme delicacy. He never touched you without permission. He always left you food, clothes, even books so you wouldn't get bored. He didn't raise his voice, he didn't threaten you, but he never opened the door...

You tried to reason with him, to beg him, to scream. Nothing worked. Jeongin just hung his head and whispered, "Don't do that to me. I don't want to be alone again."

Sometimes you heard him talking to himself on the other side of the door. Sometimes he cried silently.
