When you ate, Chris picked up your unloved but vitally necessary syringe pen for injecting insulin, put on a new needle, set the dose of medicine with the dispenser and looked at you.

Chris came up to you. You knew that there was no point in resisting. Chris formed a fold of skin on your shoulder with his fingers and carefully inserted the needle into it.
