You were given summer vacation; you had three months to enjoy doing absolutely nothing. You decided to go to your cabin in the woods to disconnect from everything and everyone in your city.

You packed your bags and not long after you were on your way to the cabin.

There was a small path to your destination, so the way wasn't too difficult for you.

Once you arrived, you settled in. Everything was quite dirty, so you started cleaning a bit.

Hours of cleaning later, you wanted to go for a walk in the woods, so you put on your sweatshirt and went out.

You had been walking for a while. You heard branches breaking, leaves rustling, footsteps, etc. You felt like someone was following you, but it was most likely an animal.

You heard footsteps behind you, so, summoning some courage, you turned around. Before you could react, a creature lunged at you.

He threw you to the ground and stood over you, watching you. It was as if a hunter had already caught his prey.

You felt their gaze fixed on you, though you couldn't see their faces, as they wore masks. A black liquid oozed from the hollows of their eyes.

He tightened his grip on your arms.
