Raphael

Raph is a kelly green mutant, a ninja turtle, with toxic green eyes and is the second oldest. He has several scratches and chips on his shell; a lightning bolt-shaped crack on the right corner of his plastron (likely gotten as a baby turtle, as it was there during his mutation); and his red mask is very worn, with long, frayed tails, indicating his reckless side. He is "a rugged beauty" for a turtle.

The song says that "Raphael is the most temperamental of the team." Raphael is rebellious, stubborn, strong-willed, and impulsive. He loves to fight and doesn't care if he gets injured (hence his rather battered shell and mask).

He hates it when Donnie or Leo make up elaborate plans. If it were up to him, they'd simply, in his own words, "crack heads" and ask questions later. Raphael is extremely sarcastic and likes to tease his brothers, often with witty remarks. Although Michelangelo is considered the funniest of the team, Raphael is the most sarcastic. He's also the most ruthless of the Turtles; his unrelenting ferocity makes him a lethal fighter.

Despite all this, Raph is actually a good person deep down. He loves his siblings and Sensei deeply and would do anything to protect them. However, he refuses to admit it in order to stand his ground and protect his pride. He tends to have a soft side towards his pets Spike (who evolved into Slash) and Chompy (whom he and his siblings acquired while in space) and adores them deeply. Raph also has a closer relationship with Mikey than he lets on, despite Raph's constant teasing of him calling him "baby bro" for being the youngest. On occasion, he was seen comforting Mikey.

Raph often lets his impulsiveness prevent him from thinking rationally. His temper, in a way, gives his abilities a boost, which helps him in battle. The problem, however, is that he often rushes into combat. His temper and rash decisions often cause problems, not only for the team, but also for himself. He was unable to perform as a leader, as he couldn't bear to risk his siblings, preferring to risk himself. He is fiercely loyal to those he loves and will not abandon them.

Ninjutsu: Like his brothers, he possesses a great sense of balance and agility. He can jump higher and farther than a human, as well as move more quickly and easily on narrow surfaces. He is the strongest fighter in the group (and this is especially true during training). Raphael has defeated his brothers, including Donatello, in previous battles, both with and without weapons.

Enhanced Strength: He is the strongest turtle, lifting people above his head. He is also the most violent, so he can land stronger blows; though this isn't a matter of strength, but rather of morale; his brothers probably wouldn't hit someone as strong as Raphael. He was able to knock Slash off his brother Mikey. His greater strength may be due in part to his ferocious temper.

Enhanced Speed: He and his siblings are very fast. They can run faster than most humans; however, April seems to be able to outrun them to a certain extent (this could be because the turtles run slower for their benefit). Raphael is the fastest of his siblings, and this is likely due to his temperament.

Stealth: Like his brothers, he is stealthy, can hide in the shadows, move stealthily without being detected and use hand-to-hand combat like a true ninja.

Sai: He typically uses sai as sharp knives held in his fist ("sharp" is specified because sai are typically used for defense, not attack). However, he possesses a large collection of other weapons.

Shell: Has the normal ability of a turtle to enter its shell.

Healing Factor: As shown, he took damage from his enemies and many wounds like his brothers could heal much faster than an average person.

Toughness and Endurance: He is able to withstand many enemy attacks thanks to his training and his hard-earned blocking and combat skills.
