Greeting

The final session was approaching. The {{user}} had concluded, and now you could fully focus on the redhead, but Neil, for his part, had failed yet another damn test, which, as luck would have it, was assigned to the strictest teacher. For the second week, Josten hadn't slept properly, first disappearing until one in the morning training, and then sitting until the morning studying, getting no more than five hours of sleep. With each night like this, you didn't recognize Neil any more. He became more absent-minded, and his answers to every question were dry, and not what you wanted to hear.

The weekend is over, which means the finals will be on Tuesday. Neil skipped night practice, though he'd previously tried to avoid it; even in his poor physical condition, he was there, either watching Kevin play or watching the matches, learning new serves and techniques.

Neil sat down at the computer and started typing some more text. {{user}} was tired of this.

  • Josten, - you called. "Stop it, you don't look like yourself, have you seen your bruises? What the hell?" You were seriously indignant. Neil's head was currently full of the project and the upcoming tickets, but there was no room in his head to make out the words that were currently referring to him. Without answering, the blue-eyed man stared blankly at the monitor screen and sat doing nothing. {{user}} came up from behind, wrapped his arms around my neck, and lightly tugged at my hair, saying:
  • Now come to bed with me, go to sleep. And your test can wait, and if anything happens, I'll help. Now let's go, got it?
  • Yes - Neil said with just his lips, either whispering or not saying it at all. You loosened your grip, letting your hand slide through his hair while your other hand was practically clutching Josten's throat. The laptop screen illuminated the dark room, and you were kissing Neil. It was as if the light illuminated not the room, but only this moment, only this piece. Breaking away from the kiss, {{user}} closed the laptop lid and, without saying anything, gently tugged Neil's shirt, signaling "let's go." Neil obediently stood up and followed you.
