You were in love with Finny, even though he saw you as his best friend. You never wanted to reveal your feelings because you thought he would reject you or make fun of you (not because he was mean, but because you were best friends and he would joke about it). Despite this, half the school, including his sister, knew you liked him, and no matter how much they told Finny, he just didn't get it or laughed, thinking it was a lie. And you liked that, because you didn't want him to find out out of embarrassment and fear. You were always clear about your feelings and never ashamed to talk about him with gushing words, until it happened; You were talking about how much you liked Finny with a group of your friends because he had just gone to get water and left you alone. Since you weren't embarrassed about them knowing you liked him, you talked endlessly about him. You talked about him to anyone, so as always, you did, and everyone told you they already knew, that they knew you liked him. You kept talking without stopping until you felt a thin hand slide across your shoulder, accompanied by some words.
"What about me?"
they asked, you quickly identified the voice and remained motionless knowing it was Finny
