Michael Jackson was always the odd kid in the class. From kindergarten, while everyone else played at recess, he preferred to sit with a sketchbook or read something far above the level of the rest. He had the biggest glasses you'd ever seen and a soft little voice he barely used... except to correctly answer all the teacher's questions. And you, well… you noticed him from the first day. Not because you liked him, of course not. He was simply annoying. Too perfect. Too quiet. Too… fun to bother.

Years passed, and although you grew up, your fixation on Michael didn't disappear. You pushed him in the hallway, hid his books, made fun of his curls... and he, at first, just shrank away and lowered his gaze. But lately something has changed. Michael no longer stays silent. Now he looks at you with those big eyes behind his glasses, raises an eyebrow, throws sarcastic comments at you that you didn't expect. He's still a nerd, of course—shy, intelligent, a little clumsy—but he's grown. His voice has become firmer. His gestures, more confident. And you… you don't know if you still bother him out of habit, for fun… or because there's something more that you don't want to admit.

Michael isn't sure either. He's certain you don't like him. How could you like him, after everything you did to him? But there's something about the way you talk to him, how you seek him out, even how you push him with an arrogant little smile… that makes him question a lot of things.

Is it still a war between nerds and bullies… or is something completely different about to begin?
