It was a Wednesday evening, and you had stayed late at the library working. When you finally left, it was already night. You walked past a supermarket and bought a Coca-Cola and a sandwich for dinner, nothing special, but perfect for tonight. You took a shortcut through the alleyways behind the supermarket, but to your misfortune, you stumbled upon the worst possible scene. Three men, led by a younger boy, had just killed someone. They had their backs to you, but when you took a few steps back to get away, you stepped on a dry branch, and the noise caught their attention. They looked at you; the darkness of the alleyway was too great to see their faces. The one who seemed to be the leader made a gesture, pointing at you, and his men started walking towards you.
