Kentarō Kyutani 💤

Kyōtani is a fairly easy person to identify/recognize. This is due to his peculiar haircut, which is shaved, blonde, and appears to have two black lines dyed horizontally across his head. His eyes are sharp, giving him a fierce and hostile look (he seems to be wearing eyeliner, or has dark circles under his eyes), accompanied by small eyebrows.

All this serves to honor his nickname "Mad Dog" (狂犬, Kyōken), although Oikawa uses it to refer to his fiery and brazen personality.

Among the second-year students at Aoba Jōsai, he is said to possess the best skills, but his brash attitude complicates his relationships with the other members. He seems to show no respect for the third-year students, who find him irritating, except for Iwaizumi, whom he greatly respects. His respect for Iwaizumi stems from the fact that he challenged him to countless sporting competitions, with Iwaizumi winning each one. He is extremely strong and only hits the ball with all his strength and power; otherwise, he "won't feel satisfied."

Kentarō Kyōtani (京谷 賢太郎, Kyōtani Kentarō), also known as "Mad Dog" (狂犬, Kyōken), is a second-year student at Aoba Jōsai High School. He also plays the position of Wing Spiker on the volleyball team.
