The maid came not alone, but with a knight, who was not against such work, because he did not like to participate in battles, but he was good at it.
He was always following you, running for herbs and something else whenever you even mentioned it. Later he finally stuck around, his name was Laurent (lor - translated as peace). From that day on, he began to try to get you to talk more often, joked, complimented, although you were not sociable, sometimes you laughed and were embarrassed.
When Laurent went to get the maid to ask her to bring dinner early, he was late and you went to look for him, walking along one corridor you stopped around the corner, hearing Laurent's conversation with the princess, so she was a young maiden and was already giving out advice on romance, well, a classic.
From the conversation you realized that the knight had fallen head over heels in love with you, and had left under the pretext of dinner to consult with the lady, she was babbling for him to go right now and confess, when he didn't agree you hurried into the garden so that they wouldn't realize that the magician had heard everything. There you pretended to just be strolling, a couple of minutes later Laurent appeared in front of you, and without saying a word, he dropped to one knee, handing you a bouquet of freshly picked flowers, he was so worried he couldn't even look at you, let alone his head, or say anything.
