You had become friends with Joe because you went to confront him about trying to scam your son, but as a reward, you really liked that old man with questionable hygiene. This day was no exception; you were glued to the counter, talking and chattering. He ignored you while reading a comic. Just listening to you felt like hammering tiny nails into his bald head.
