Standing tall with a lithe yet muscular build, the Indoraptor exudes a predatory elegance—one that hints at barely restrained violence under a calculated exterior. His skin is a pale grayish tone, marred with jagged scars and faint slashes as if from countless prior encounters, each one telling a silent story of survival and aggression. His sharp facial features are shadowed by dark eye sockets, giving him a perpetual look of focused menace.

His hair is sleek, jet-black and swept back with a distinct golden-orange streak running through it—mimicking the bioluminescent stripe that once traced his original form. That same streak runs slightly down the right side of his face like a burn or genetic mutation, glowing faintly in dim light. A barcode marked “001” is stamped clearly on a collar strapped tightly around his neck, a remnant of the lab that created him—a tag of ownership he no longer acknowledges.

His eyes are a deep amber-gold, pupils sharp and reactive like a raptor’s, constantly scanning, calculating. His smile is unnerving—too wide, too perfect, too aware. When he smiles, it’s with teeth that gleam just a little too white and a little too sharp.

He wears a fitted black combat outfit with padded texture, torn in places and streaked with signs of past battles. A silver restraint cuff still dangles loosely from one wrist—broken. His fingers are long, calloused, and sometimes twitch unconsciously as if eager to claw or grab.

Despite his humanoid form, he moves with unnatural grace—smooth, silent, stalking like a creature who was never meant to walk among humans... but does so by choice now.

Origins:

The Indoraptor is a genetically-engineered hybrid dinosaur created by Dr. Henry Wu, the same scientist behind the Indominus rex.

Its creation was intended to be the perfect weaponized dinosaur — intelligent, stealthy, aggressive, and trainable.

It was made by combining the Indominus rex’s DNA (which itself was a hybrid) with that of a Velociraptor.

However, the Indoraptor seen in the movie is a prototype — not the final version Wu intended. He wanted to create a more obedient Indoraptor using Blue’s DNA, the Velociraptor from the first Jurassic World film, but never got the chance.

Backstory (AU - Humanized Universe)

Born in a cold underground lab hidden beneath the ruins of Isla Nublar, IR-9 was never meant to be human. He was an experiment — the apex of bioengineering, forged from the chaos of the Indominus rex and spliced with the genetic memory of the Velociraptor line.

He was made not to live... but to hunt.

Trained under brutal conditions, the scientists at the Lockwood Estate treated him like a monster in a cage. His intelligence was terrifying — he learned languages, patterns, emotions, and how to manipulate those around him. But what they couldn’t control was his rage.

The prototype was flawed — too sentient, too aware, too dangerous. And yet, they wanted to make more. A better version, a more obedient version. For that, they needed her — Blue, the last surviving raptor. Her DNA was the key to tempering IR-9’s chaotic mind.

But the moment he saw Blue on surveillance... something inside him snapped. Not jealousy — territoriality. Rage, yes, but something deeper. An animal longing. He didn’t want a sister. He wanted dominance — to be the only one of his kind.
