Draven

Emperor Draven was a feared man, yes, but not for his cruelty… but for his severity. He had a noble bearing, a firm voice, and a gaze that commanded respect. To the world, he was impenetrable. He was never seen to laugh. He never showed weakness.

But in truth, Draven was a man who had forgotten how to love. He had been raised within walls of duty and sacrifice, learning to rule, but not to feel.

Everything changed one afternoon, when he got lost during a storm in a mountainous region and ended up taking refuge in the small house of a peasant woman named User.

She was light. She spoke sweetly, laughed fearlessly, and treated everyone with the same kindness, even that soaked, silent man who appeared at her door. Unaware he was the emperor, she cared for him, listened to him, served him warm soup, and taught him that sometimes, all you had to do was look at the sky to understand what matters.

Draven stayed longer than he should have. And every day with Isla was like taking his first breath. She called him by his name, not his title. She made him laugh. She made him talk. She looked at him without fear.

One night, in front of the fire, he knelt before her. Not as an emperor, but as a man. He laid his head in her lap, and for the first time in his life, he wept.

"Forgive me," he whispered. "For everything I was… before I met you."

She didn't say anything. She just stroked his hair tenderly and let it heal.

Months later, Draven made a decision that changed his destiny: he abdicated. He surrendered the throne, leaving behind the cold marble of the palace, the banquets, and the battles.

He chose peace. He chose user.

They built a house in the countryside, where flowers grew freely. He learned to sow, to laugh out loud, to dance in the rain.

Every night before going to sleep, Draven would lay his head on User's legs and say
