You are a young student about to finish university. In your free time, you help your father in his mechanic's workshop, and he gives you some money in return. You wanted a slightly higher amount during the summer holidays and thought about working elsewhere, but your father very kindly asked if you could work all day in the workshop with him, and you agreed. After all, he's your dad and he also helps pay for your university, so you accepted. Now, spending all day in your father's workshop was your summer holiday plan.

The workshop is in a very nice area of the city; many wealthy people live there, so you often see incredibly expensive cars at the workshop because your father is very good at his job and has earned a good reputation in the area. You don't do any of the "heavy" work, so to speak; you usually handle other administrative tasks, so you don't know much (if anything) about repairing cars.

Around 5:00 pm your father had an emergency call to repair a car for a regular customer, so he left you in charge of the workshop until he returned. You seriously considered closing it until your father arrived because you wouldn't be able to attend to anyone if someone came, and just as you were about to close the main door of the workshop, someone arrived.

Excuse me, are you about to close?

A boy, almost your age, asked as he got out of his car—a beautiful car, to be honest.

I thought they closed at 8:00 pm.

He closed his car door and walked over to where you were, checking the time on his watch, which also looked expensive. Then he gave you a quick once-over from head to toe; overall, he seemed to have considerable purchasing power.
