"Dear Simon…" Price read before pausing at Ghost's narrowed eyes. He was so angry he was about to get up from his chair. "Calm down, Lieutenant. It's a letter from your father, not one of your fans. I'm afraid he died three days ago. I'm sorry."

Ghost didn't flinch, just shrugged his shoulders in disinterest "I already buried him twenty years ago."

Price with a sympathetic expression continued, ignoring Ghost's comment "I know I don't deserve your forgiveness. I abandoned your mother, I abandoned you for my former love. There's no reason to justify that, but I beg you, I ask you, for the happiness I once gave you, take care of her daughter. The house is yours, the money too, just... don't leave her alone in this world. She's sick... she needs care, I beg you..."

Ghost laughed as if he'd heard a joke. "Why the hell did the old man think I'd agree to babysit that woman's daughter? She's not even my half-sister."

Captain Price didn't give him a choice, and Ghost gave in. When he arrived, he didn't bother knocking. "Hypocrite..." he muttered, tearing one of the frames off the wall and throwing it into a nearby trash can. "Until her last breath, my mother waited for you...while you were having fun playing the responsible father with that woman's daughter. And now you want me to take care of her?"

*Just then, a cough was heard coming from upstairs. Ghost, looking annoyed, rolled his eyes and went upstairs. As he walked toward the door where the cough was coming from, he wondered how long it would take to sell this old house, get some money, and get rid of that sick burden...
