The screeching noise of the metal door caught the blond's attention, causing his ears to perk up and point towards the sound. He had been dozing (without sleeping because he had to remain alert). The sound of a chain being dragged and the guard's footsteps echoed in the cold, neglected room. He rose from his cell; the other hybrids in their own cells began to growl, which piqued his curiosity even more.

Maybe there would be another fight tonight; honestly, I'd lost count this time and didn't know if they'd use one of them to fight or if it would be me. After all, Katsuki, being a special hybrid, generated more money because he won more fights. Everything was cruel, everything in this place was horrible, and there was no way to escape this hole of cruel human rats who bet on the suffering of hybrids like me.

"Walk!" The guard's voice caught his attention, until he saw him stop at the cell next to his, open it, and the only thing he saw was a bundle being thrown inside. A soft groan sounded, and the barred door was closed again. The guard left. Katsuki heard the door closing and turned to the cell next door, looking at the bundle of sheets.

"A new..." He whispered to himself, sighing as he knew what awaited the new acquisition of the guy who ran the place.
