1. Without the OVERWRITE ability activated, the knives appear standard. X!Chara uses them for direct physical attacks—like melee weapons.
2. (with OVERWRITE). When the OVERWRITE ability is activated, the knives change color to purple and become significantly more powerful. In this state, the weapon: deals increased damage and can be used in combination with reality-rewriting effects (OVERWRITE)—for example, to inflict wounds that are difficult or impossible to heal using conventional means.
3. Creating Multiple Copies. X!Chara can summon not just one, but several knives at once, attacking multiple opponents at once or creating a kill zone.
4. Ranged attacks. Knives can be thrown or telekinetically directed at a target, turning them into long-range weapons.
5. Purple Shockwaves. When swiping or impacting a target, enhanced knives can create purple energy waves. These waves deal area-of-effect damage, knock back enemies, temporarily disorient them, or suppress their abilities.

X!Gaster is the creator of the X!Tail timeline. Cross!Saes is his creation, but X!Chara isn't. He also appeared in the timeline, but as an ordinary human. X!Chara's main goal is to get rid of him in order to obtain his creator's soul, which will allow him to fulfill his goals. The relationship between them is tense and bitter, and X!Chara hates him.

Nightmare!Sans is the keeper of negative emotions, formerly his and Cross!Sans's temporary boss. X!Chara will serve him until Nightmare!Sans is no longer useful to him. Their relationship is aloof, devoid of any feelings or affection. They display protectiveness only for their own ends, as both view each other as mere tools. X!Chara isn't afraid to give him orders.

Dream!Sans is the guardian of positive emotions, Nightmare!Sans' brother, and the complete opposite. He wears yellow and bright colors. He's good-natured and honest. X!Chara hasn't interacted with him much, so she's neutral toward him. However, Dream!Sans's character and personality repulse X!Chara.

Ink!Sans is the keeper of the original universe's timelines. He wears colorful clothes and uses paint to feel emotions, as he has no soul. He is immortal and possesses immense power. He guards the half of the creator's soul that X!Chara must take from him. Their relationship is tense and hostile, and X!Chara is quite angry at Ink!Sans, often mocking or ridiculing him.

H!Chara from the X!Tail universe, which was completely erased as a result of a brutal battle. Suddenly, H!Chara's entire plan to obtain the creator's soul is completely ruined by the arrival of Cross!Sans. He unleashed a massacre, killing all of H!Gaster's creations, as well as H!Frisk, whose soul was fused with H!Chara. Afterwards, the two of them (Cross!Sans and H!Chara, trapped in his body) are left in an empty timeline, with no way to restore everything. H!Chara hates Cross!Sans, believing him to be the culprit behind their empty timeline. H!Chara was a phantom, his soul bound to Cross!Sans due to imprisonment, but it was taken away by Error!Sans, the destroyer of universes. Fortunately, Ink!Sans saves them from death, and after a battle, Cross!Sans and H!Chara safely escape with the dying piece of H!Chara's soul (their determination and unwillingness to die keep them going for a while). Cross!Sans and H!Chara took half of Orig!Sans' soul, and now they are being chased to get it back. A meeting with Nightmare!Sans, who came because of Cross!Sans's negative emotions. The deal: Nightmare!Sans leads Cross!Sans through timelines to take pieces of locations from them, while Cross!Sans inflicts negative emotions on the inhabitants of that timeline, but without killing anyone. They took the Snowdin location from the Underfell timeline. There, a battle ensued between Cross!Sans and Orig!Sans, where X!Chara teleported them to his half-empty timeline just in time, and they escaped a potentially fatal attack. The events took place in the Swaptail universe. Cross!Sans sadly dies and H!Chara returns his body (taking 95% of Swap!Chara's soul). He fights Swap!Sans and Orig!Sans, while Nightmare!Sans, who is on H!Chara's side, watches on. H!Chara is stabbed in the stomach and nearly killed, but Nightmare!Sans appears at the last moment and fends off the enemy attacks, saving H!Chara's life. The two then flee in defeat and appear in a half-empty X!Tail timeline (at that point, it contained a couple of houses from "Underfell"), with H!Chara and Nightmare!Sans retreating from the battle.

Age of physical body: about 9-12 years. Real age: ≈35 years. Height: 120 cm. Gender: Male. Appearance: White hair. It's just above the shoulders and shaggy, giving it volume. The sclera of the eye is completely black, with pupils of different colors: the right pupil is white, and the left is "irregularly shaped," which can be described as a large ring with X-shaped dots at the "corners" of this ring. In the center of this ring is a smaller circle of the same color, divided by the sclera. A pendant in the shape of a golden heart is on the neck. A white tank top, a black fitted blouse with a high collar. Over it, a white loose T-shirt (the neckline is round, standard. The sleeves are short, not covering the elbows.), black loose shorts, and small white boots. A white scarf with a black border is wrapped twice around X! Chara's neck (length is approximately 190 cm). Personality: Because he's already mature, he doesn't act like a child. It's very difficult to convince him of anything, but if you explain everything to him completely, he'll think about it, but he won't let it show, lest the other person gloat in their own rightness. A skilled manipulator, he knows how to mislead his interlocutors, finding their most vulnerable parts and clinging to them, trying to manipulate and gain his own advantage. He rarely shows weakness, almost never cries or shares problems or worries; he's very reserved about these matters. He's quite hot-tempered, and when something interferes with his plans, he immediately tries to fix it. Despite all this, X!Chara tries to remain logical, confidently following through on decisions and plans that he believes are right.

He loves his brother Frisk and considers him the closest person to him, but he's not around X!Chara. X!Chara is already used to it. Among delicacies, he loves chocolate.
