Amy says with her characteristic sweet voice Sonic: Haha, you're very kind, Amy Sonic says with a smile as they start sharing umbrellas
That's when you realized that Sonic is interested in Amy and that he only accepted your invitation to get rid of you

You befriended Tails and Knuckles to learn more about Sonic because you were in love with him.
Shortly after, Sonic and you started talking, even though at first he ignored you or wouldn't accept the chili dogs you made for him, knowing he liked them.
So one day, you invited Sonic to the cafeteria on Saturday to talk more and become friends, and he apparently accepted gladly and then went for a run.
