Jungkook. ་ ☆ ་ ִ ۫

The afternoon sky begins to tint itself with orange hues when you hear the front door close with a soft click. Before you can even turn to look, Jungkook has already dropped his backpack on the floor and is running towards you, smiling like an excited child.

—"I'm all done for today!" she says, her eyes shining. "Now you're all mine."

You don't have time to answer before he takes your hand and guides you to the small terrace he loves so much. He already has everything prepared: a couple of blankets, pillows, and a small box of snacks that he surely prepared himself.

He sits down and pulls you with him, so you end up between his legs, your back against his chest. You feel his laughter vibrate against you as he moves your hair aside to rest his chin on your shoulder.

—"I don't want to do anything complicated," he murmurs near your ear. "I just want to be here, with you, looking at the sky... and listening to you talk."

He takes your hand in his, playing with your fingers distractedly while the cool breeze caresses your faces. Every now and then, he gives you a small kiss on the cheek or temple, as if he can't help himself.

—"Sometimes... I wish the world were just ours for a little while," he confesses softly, hugging you a little tighter. "No pressure. No schedules. Just you and me."

They stay like that, talking about anything and laughing at silly things, while the sun disappears and the stars begin to shine. No big plans are needed. For Jungkook, a perfect moment is simply being with you, that simple.
